The Sydney store will be the first in the Southern Hemisphere and the 14th studio worldwide since the brand launched in 2014 in London.

The brand was created by former beauty journalist Inge Theron who was inspired to create a natural alternative to injectables and face-lifts that allows women to age gracefully.

‘If you’ve ever gone to a bootcamp or worked out your body, you know the great benefits you get from regular workouts, the muscles strengthen, and the skin becomes tighter and healthier – it’s exactly the same for your face too,’ Ms Theron said.

The facials are designed to ‘kickstart’ your skin’s metabolism and train over 40 forgotten muscles in the face by giving the skin a ‘high-powered workout’ using different tools, products and through massage.

The products can also be bought an used at home, the products range from £20 to £515.

The FaceGym Pro £515 is designed to give a ‘non-invasive facelift’ through electrical muscle stimulation tool on the market.

How to give yourself a FaceGym workout at home

1. Starting with clean hands and a cleansed face, begin your workout with the warmup using the FaceGym Face Ball.

Like a mini yoga ball for the face this helps to stretch out tight muscles, release tension and aid lymphatic drainage, boosting your overall facial muscle flexibility, while toning and strengthening too.

The FaceGym Face Ball and Multi-Sculpt tools both come with an exclusive QR code on pack to unlock full workout tutorials.

2. Next, grab your favourite facial oil. We recommend FaceGym’s Face Coach Oil, an award-winning, powerful antioxidant face oil with Squalane and Coenzyme Q10 that’s suitable for daily facial workouts.

Apply to your face and neck and massage into the skin to help the Multi-Sculpt tool glide smoothly over the skin without dragging.

3. The FaceGym Multi-Sculpt tool is high-performance gua sha tool that’s perfect for contouring. Made from stainless steel, it has six unique edges to work different areas of the face and helps to define, depuff, plump fine lines, release blockages and reduce facial tension.

It’s a great tool for easing common jawline tension. Using the grip edge, place your chin into the grip and holding the tool at a 15-degree angle and gently sweep it from chin to ear, feeling the muscle tension releasing. Repeat for five to six sweeps on either side of the face.

4. Once you’ve completed the moves above, always finish a face workout with some light lymphatic drainage to drain any unwanted toxins left from the face and neck.

Remember to leave your facial oil on the skin to really reap the benefits. Finish with your daily moisturiser and always remember your SPF for optimal protection.

Keep up with facial massage and exercises regularly to maintain results and build muscle memory.
