- Patrick Mauldin, 30, is the mastermind behind the JoeBiden.info parody site
- He is a political consultant who has made videos for the Trump campaign
- Parody site vows Biden is ‘ready to take a hands-on approach’ to problems
- Includes GIFs and pictures of Biden rubbing shoulders and sniffing hair
- Highlights Biden’s past policy positions, such as his approval of the Iraq war
The creator of a popular Joe Biden parody website has been revealed as a young political consultant who has worked for President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.
Patrick Mauldin, 30, was revealed on Saturday as the creator of JoeBiden.info, a parody campaign site that highlights embarrassing policy positions and other Biden gaffes through the years.
‘I don’t make any claims on the site to lean one way or the other,’ Mauldin told the New York Times, which revealed his affiliation with the site. ‘Facts are not partisan.’
Although the site includes a disclaimer saying that it is ‘political commentary and parody of Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign website,’ the Times fulminated that it is akin to ‘disinformation spread by Russian trolls.’

The Biden parody website vows that ‘Uncle Joe is back and ready to take a hands-on approach to America’s problems!’
Mauldin, who runs the Austin- Texas-based marketing consultancy Vici Media Group with his brother, created the site on his own time, and did not use campaign funds.
He has worked as a consultant for the Trump campaign, though, creating videos and other digital content.
Tim Murtaugh, the Trump campaign’s communications director, told the Times that it was ‘great that talented supporters of President Trump use their time to help his re-election.’
The Biden parody website vows that ‘Uncle Joe is back and ready to take a hands-on approach to America’s problems! Joe Biden has a good feel for the American people and knows exactly what they really want deep down.’
It includes many pictures and GIFs of Biden rubbing the shoulders and sniffing the hair of various women and girls, an issue that he was forced to apologize for earlier this year.
The site also highlights Biden’s actual past policy positions that may be off-putting to the modern Democratic base
The site also offers joke T-shirts for sale poking fun at Biden
Mauldin told the Times the website is intended to help Democrats ‘face facts’
The site also highlights various policy positions Biden has taken over the years that may be unpopular with the Democratic base, such as his support for the Iraq War and the 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act.
The site also sells joke T-shirts with slogans such as ‘Joe Biden Touched Me.’
Mauldin told the Times the website is intended to help Democrats ‘face facts.’
He said he kept his name off it because ‘people tend to dismiss things that they don’t like, especially if it comes from the opposite side.’
The Biden campaign said it had been aware of the site for some time but not who created it.
Biden is seen at the debate on Thursday. His spokesman said the campaign has long been aware of the parody site but did not know who was responsible
‘Imagine our surprise that a site full of obvious disinformation is the handiwork of an operative tied to the Trump campaign,’ campaign spokesman T.J. Ducklo told the Times.
Mauldin is also the mastermind of sites lampooning other top Democratic presidential candidates.
They include one labeling Senator Bernie Sanders as ‘Millionaire Bernie’, a greedy socialist.
Another, ‘Elizabeth Warren for Chief’ mocks the Massachusetts senator’s claim of Native American ancestry.
‘Kamala Harris for Arresting the People’ highlights the California senator’s work as a prosecutor known for ‘locking up parents for their children’s truancy.’
