Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s daughter Lara Johnson-Wheeler proved she took bridesmaid duties very seriously this weekend as she attended the wedding of Nick Knight’s daughter Emily.
The famed British fashion photographer’s offspring wed her photography and film director husband Daniel Knight Harris at a stunning outside service in Port Isaac, a small fishing village in north Cornwall.
Notable guests at the whimsical ceremony on Saturday included Lara, 28, who was a bridesmaid for the elegant bride. The two friends had both worked for Nick’s company SHOWstudio.
Taking centre stage, Emily looked radiant in an off-the-shoulder gown which she paired with a dainty veil and a bouquet of pastel flowers.
In footage shared online, Lara can be seen walking behind the bride and holding onto her headpiece, while making a statement in a green frock, featuring an overlaying, see-through top and ruffled detailing.

Like her mother, Lara attended independent co-ed school Bedales, which counts Lilly Allen, Kirstie Allsop, and Princess Margaret’s children David Linley and Sarah Chatto among its high-achieving network of former students, dubbed ‘Old Bedalians’.
Set in 120 acres of South Downs National Park, in Hampshire, the £30,000-a-year school is famous for its excellence in the arts and boasts clubs ranging from ‘rustic furniture making’ to a ‘make your own language’ society.
In a school blog highlighting the work of notable alumni, Lara credits Bedales with helping her in a ‘multitude of ways’ including teaching her to ‘think critically, creatively and above all, with kindness’.
She also admits it afforded her an ‘incredible breadth of friends and contacts’.
Forging a career: Among her first jobs was as Features Editor at SHOWstudio, a fashion website founded by British fashion photographer Nick Knight, which provided a launchpad to the world of arts and fashion journalism. Pictured, at a 2016 party
After finishing her A Levels in 2011, Lara went on to study Latin and Comparative Literature at St Andrews University, graduating with a 2:1.
Unashamedly fun-loving Lara has previously shared she enjoys a ‘very, very, very dirty vodka martini’ and confessed to throwing up a ‘whole oyster outside The Globe’ theatre.

According to her website, Lara left the publication after two years to go freelance and ‘pursue the multitude of avenues that opened up’, including opportunities at industry favourite LOVE, as well as magazine heavyweights British Vogue and Tatler, where she works as a contributing editor.
