The heartbroken brother of a nurse who was seen dangling from a seventh floor balcony shortly before she fell to her death, has claimed the incident was a ‘terrible accident’.
Deekshya Dahal, 39, died after falling from an apartment balcony in Parramatta in western Sydney, about 1.45am on January 2.

Two hours before Ms Dahal’s death, her mobile phone was used to call triple-0.
NSW Police revealed only background noises, including raised voices, could be heard during the call.
A triple-0 operator returned the call to Ms Dahal and spoke to a man inside the apartment, believed to be her husband Labrinda Subedi, 40.
The operator informed the man police would attend the River Rd property throughout the night to ensure everyone’s safety.
At 1.45am a frightened passer-by phoned police after spotting Ms Dahal hanging over the edge of a balcony.
Officers arrived at the scene within one minute of receiving the call but found Ms Dahal had already fallen and suffered catastrophic injuries.
The nurse was discovered in a garden bed and was unable to be revived.
