The family of a woman killed in a car crash seven years ago involving a Melrose Place actress is set to receive a $4.8 million settlement.

Actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer, 44, was convicted and jailed over the crash that killed 60-year-old Helene Seeman and injured her husband Fred back in 2010 in Montgomery Township, New Jersey.

Most of the money from the settlement will come from the hosts of a party where Locane-Bovenizer had been drinking prior to the deadly crash, NJ.com reports.

Rachel and Carlos Sagebien have agreed to pay $3.3 million through their insurance company to Seeman’s family.

Locane-Bovenizer and her estranged husband will pay the remaining $1.5 million.

The actress served about two-and-a-half years in prison after being convicted of vehicular manslaughter and other charges. She was released in 2015, much to the outrage of the victim’s family.

Locane-Bovenizer was three times the limit when she plowed into the couple as they turned into their driveway.

When she was initially sentenced, the judge cited Locane-Bovenizer’s two young daughters – one of whom has Crohn’s Disease – as reasons for a lower sentence.

In a resentencing hearing, a judge said he erred by imposing too light a sentence, but declined to send Locane-Bovenizer back to prison.

The state has appealed that decision.

Five days after being released from prison, Locane was served with divorce papers by her wealthy businessman husband Mark Bovenizer.

She is now seeking custody of her two daughters.

Locane starred in the hit series Melrose Place in 1992 as Sandy Louise Harling. She also starred with Johnny Depp in the 1990 film Cry Baby.
