Fan creates petition for Travis and Jason Kelce’s mom to do coin toss at Super Bowl LVII

Donna Kelce will already have the privilege of watching her sons square off in the Super Bowl on Feburary 12, but one fan wants her experience to be elevated even further.

A fan named Amber Smith has created a petition on change.org for the mom to do the coin toss before the game, where her boys Travis (Chiefs) and Jason (Eagles) will compete for the title.

According to the petition’s webpage, Smith started it two days ago, and it already has more than 23,000 signatures. 

‘As We all Know Travis and Jason Kelce will go head to head on Superbowl Sunday!!! This is a Petition to the NFL to allow Mrs Kelce to do the Honorary Coin Toss!!!,’ a description at the top of the page reads.

‘What a great way to show the Super Proud mama some Amazing Appreciation and Love while giving her a once in a lifetime opportunity!!’

Kansas City and Philadelphia last played in 2021, with the Chiefs winning 42-30.

Before that, the Chiefs won 27-20 four years before.

Both Kelces are significant players for their teams.

Travis is quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target, and led the team in receiving this year with 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Jason is a lynchpin of the Eagles’ offensive line at center, starting every game this season and earning first-team All-Pro honors for the fifth time.

Still, he insisted the game was about more than just him and his brother. 

‘I kinda don’t like that we’re calling it the Kelce Bowl,’ Jason said on the pair’s New Heights podcast. 

‘Appreciate the support, but there’s a lot of guys involved with this. There’s major organizations involved. Unbelievable storylines in this Super Bowl.’
