Fan favourite latest to be eliminated from I’m A Celebrity: ‘Australia have made a mistake’

Michelle Bridges is the latest celebrity to be eliminated from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The fitness guru admitted she was disappointed to be kicked off so close to the finale after a very close public vote. 

‘I won’t lie, I am disappointed. I really would have liked to have stayed a bit longer’ the 53-year-old said . 

‘I was really just getting into my stride there and I was just loving the experience – it has been great.’ 

She continued: I came in for lots of different reasons. One of them was just because who gets a chance to come to the African jungle and just, you know, act like a total dag for a couple of weeks and have fun and meet new people?

‘I’ve loved meeting new people and I have made good friendships in there, I won’t lie. There’s some really great people I’ve connected with and I know that I’ll have that connection on the outside.’

Michelle was competing for her chosen charity, Women’s Community Shelters which she said meant a lot to her. 

Also up for eviction alongside Michelle were Stephen K Amos and Ellie Cole, but they survived another round. 

Host Julia Morris was upset that Michelle was booted, stating, ‘Australia, I feel, have made a mistake. Australia! Disappointing!’
