Joe Burrow has been brutally mocked by NFL fans after arriving for the Cincinnati Bengals’ clash with the Cleveland Browns in a controversial outfit.
The Bengals quarterback, who was recently the victim of a burglary at his $7.5million Cincinnati mansion, made his way into Paycor Stadium on Sunday looking extremely casual in a grey hoodie, white vest, baggy black pants covered in love hearts and white sneakers.
Fans were far from impressed with Burrow’s gameday look, with many left baffled by the quirky pants he opted for ahead of kickoff.
One user said on X: ‘Why do NFL players always wear the weirdest s***??’
‘What tf are those pants? People with money are weird,’ wrote another.
A third asked: ‘Do rich people just wear the stupidest pants all the time?’

Burrow and the Bengals (6-8) are in desperate need of a victory against the Browns to keep their faint playoff hopes alive, with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens currently above them in the AFC North.
The 28-year-old has been under the spotlight in recent weeks after it was revealed his luxury pad was broken into while he was 1,000 miles away in Texas playing against the Dallas Cowboys.
However, the plot thickened when TMZ Sports broke the news that Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton was responsible for calling the police after the burglary – and not his long-time girlfriend Olivia Holzmacher.
Burrow and Holzmacher had been together since their college days, but neither party has announced they have gone their separate ways or even suggested as much.
Yet according to People, the NFL star was romantically involved with Ponton months before the home burglary took place.
An insider is quoted as saying: ‘They have been hooking up since the early fall and are keeping it casual.’

Burrow met previous girlfriend Holzmacher while in college at Ohio State, before eventually going public with their romance in 2017.
Holzmacher, whose LinkedIn profile states that she is a data analyst for American retail company Kroger, supported him through the first six-and-a-half years of his NFL career, including when he made it to the Super Bowl for the first time in 2022.
Almost 18 months later, rumors of a potential engagement began to do the rounds.
In August 2023 former Bengals cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones claimed the couple were engaged during an appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee show, though neither party has ever confirmed as much.
