Fans furious after Netflix ditches show with 100% Rotten Tomatoes score

Fans are devastated by Netflix pulling one of their favorite shows off the streaming service.

Despite the popular comedy-drama, Jane the Virgin, having a 100 per cent Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the series will no longer be available for binge watching on Netflix.

The show first aired on the CW from 2014 to 2019, and then a licensing agreement was made with Netflix to have all five of its seasons available on its platform for five years – making this year the final one.

Gina Rodriguez, 40, won a Golden Globe for ‘best performance by an actress in a TV series, comedy or musical’ for her portrayal of the series’ protagonist Jane Gloriana Villanueva, a religious 23-year-old.

The TV show follows Jane, who vowed to remain abstinent, yet, ended up getting pregnant, due to being mistakenly artificially inseminated, because her gynecologist mixed her patients up.
