In the paid promotion, Robert is shown chatting with some of the animals at Australia Zoo in Queensland as he promotes the service.

Robert, who recently copped backlash for not being vegan despite being a conservationist, detailed how you can ‘add fish to a veggie dish’ in one change with the meal plans.

‘HelloFresh has made planning family feeding time as easy for us humans as it is for you guys,’ Robert tells Albie the echidna.

He has joined the likes of YouTuber Natalie Tran, NRL star Beau Ryan, Paralympian Dylan Alcott and comedian Ed Kavalee in fronting a campaign for Hello Fresh AU.

Many of Robert’s followers took to the comments section to express their amusement over the new advert.

‘The bloopers are gold!’ wrote Robert’s mother Terri Irwin and another fan added: ‘Can all advertisements be like that?’
