Fans have hailed Burnley midfielder Zian Flemming for his celebration after the East Lancashire derby win over Blackburn.
The Clarets claimed a 1-0 win at Ewood Park to go within touching distance of Championship leaders Leeds.
Flemming’s header on the hour mark proved to be the difference and he looked to have enjoyed the win as he put his shirt over a Blackburn corner flag and paraded it at full-time.
And fans were full of praise for the 26-year-old Dutchman, with one posting: ‘Great lad great goal’, while another said ‘Great Scenes’.
A third fan added on X: ‘Zian Flemming stuck a Burnley shirt over the Blackburn corner flag after today’s derby day win Unreal s***housery’.
Saturday’s win has sent Burnley just a point behind Leeds and manager Scott Parker was left delighted.

He said: ‘It is satisfying, relief as well to be fair. Obviously, I have not been in here long and the game today being a local derby.
‘I quickly realised when I first came in, it was what everyone was saying to me.
‘I experienced that very early on in the season with the home day and certainly felt that today.
‘From the minute we walked into the stadium, hostile place, intense atmosphere which local derbies bring.
‘I am delighted that we managed to seal the three points.’
