Alan Shearer was compared to Sean Dyche by fans who commented on the Newcastle legend’s gravelly voice during the BBC’s live coverage of Euro 2024.
Shearer’s voice was noticeably different from normal as he provided analysis of Italy’s 2-1 win against Albania.
Everton boss Dyche is known for his rough voice and Shearer appeared to be speaking in a similar tone.
One fan wrote on X: ‘What’s up with Shearer’s voice? Is he Sean Dyche in disguise?’.
Another user suggested that Shearer had been drinking whilst in Germany.
