Fans praise Sex Education casting for the striking facial similarities shared by Adam Groff and his headmaster dad Michael: ‘How can they not be related?!’

As a new and final season of Sex Education has dropped, fans praised the incredible casting similarity between Adam Groff and his dad, Michael. 

Adam – who is played by Emma star Connor Swindells – looks like the spitting image of his on-screen dad, who is played by Alistair Petrie.

And as the circle of the Netflix drama-comedy finally closes, fans took to X to praise the accurate casting of the father and son.

Viewers raved over the stunning resemblance, as most of them admitted to have quickly googled if they were related in real life.

One user took to X and wrote: ‘Just putting it out there, this father and son casting is literally one of the best I’ve ever seen on screen #SexEducation.’

The series follows Otis (Asa Butterfield) through his awkward teenage years and sexual escapades, as fans have watched him endure heartbreak as well as his own heartbreaking.

But it seems fans were overwhelmed with the chemistry between Otis and his former flame Ruby (Mimi Keene) as the two reconcile this series.

The final series tracks the teenagers as they leave Moordale Secondary to start Cavendish Sixth Form College.
