Fans have taken to social media to vent their frustrations over Nicolas Jackson’s challenge on Takehiro Tomiyasu.
They felt Jackson ‘got away’ with ‘deliberately stomping’ on Tomiyasu during Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Chelsea on Tuesday evening.
Jackson, 22, was looking to close Tomiyasu down after he bypassed Conor Gallagher in the middle of the pitch.
However, Jackson ended up clattering into Tomiyasu after diving in with his studs up – taking the Arsenal defender down in the process.
Fans were furious with the fact Jackson got away scot-free, not picking up a yellow or red card for the incident.
