‘I’d be doing the same!’ Fans flock to support Married At First Sight’s Mishel Karen as she sprays apartment with disinfectant after Steve Burley wakes up with ‘crook tummy’
Steve Burley needed to win over Mishel Karen’s nearest and dearest at a family lunch during Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight.
But after he woke up with a ‘crook tummy’ the protective mum didn’t want to let him anywhere near her daughter Eva.
Fans flocked to Twitter to overwhelmingly support Mishel as she sprayed every inch of their apartment with disinfectant and put Steve ‘in quarantine’ in the corner.

‘Don’t worry Mishel, I’d be doing the same LOL,’ tweeted one woman sharing a GIF of a famous germophobe, Sheldon Cooper, from The Big Bang Theory.
While another said: ‘Mishel is me as a teacher when the kids are sick.’
‘Mishel Glen-10ing everything Steve has touched is a mood,’ added another fan, before a fourth commented: ‘I love Mishel. That is all,’

Once Steve was allowed out of isolation, Mishel’s daughter Eva pulled him aside for a frank discussion.
She began to quiz him about his relationship with her mother, and he confessed he would like to see his ‘wife’ be more ‘vulnerable’.
But Eva explained it was a defence mechanism, telling Steve: ‘Mum’s been hurt a lot. We haven’t had a good life.’
Becoming emotional, Eva explained that her dad had cheated on her mum, prompting Steve to try and comfort her.

‘She’s been hurt by so many men, and it’s really hard for her to open up to someone new,’ she confessed tearfully.
Clutching Eva’s hand, Steve reassured her that he only had the best intentions for Mishel, finally winning her over.
‘Yeah, I’m a rambling old bugger, but at the end of the day, my heart is in the right place,’ he said.
He added: ‘I wouldn’t be here with Mishel right now if I didn’t think she is worth it in the end.’
