Life on the land is never easy.

And according to contestants on Farmer Wants a Wife, this season once filming starts looking for love can seem like a full time job.

Farmer Corey has opened up about his experience on the hit dating show and says he was not prepared for the disruption to his work routine.

Speaking in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle on Wednesday Farmer Corey, 24, explained, ‘You don’t get much time, if any time at all, to do any farm work.

‘And if you do, you just run yourself into the ground in terms of sleep and mental capacity and that.’

He added: ‘It’s that full-on with the hours of filming that you think you can get time to do a bit of farm work, like, I’ll do this here and there, but by the end of the day, it’s an intense process’.

Another contestant, Farmer Thomas, 35, also shared with the publication that he was ‘shocked’ about the realties of TV production.

‘The whole stop-start, ready at this time, and then you sit there and do nothing, or it’s flat out,’ he said.

‘I thought I’d be able to do a bit of work during the day, but you don’t do that. All you do is snack all day on sugary snacks and get a bit fatter.

‘End of the day, you’re so drained and tired, but you’ve got so much on your mind and you struggle to sleep.’

It comes after Farmer Wants A Wife 2025 premiered on Monday and saw six hopefuls punted off the farm, and Tuesday was no different.

Six more ladies were sent packing with no chance to find love with Farmer Jarrad and Farmer Tom.

Tom said goodbye to Kaitlin, Katie and Natalie, while Jarrad kicked off Ella, Holly and Imogen.

Kaitlin, 30, however was having none of it, utterly heartbroken after thinking she had made a link with Tom.

‘I thought we had a good connection on our speed date,’ she said, tearful, before storming off camera.

‘I just feel completely blindsided, to be honest. I just can’t do this’ the equine sales worker from NSW said, breaking down.

Farmer Tom invited 28-year-old primary school teacher Eliza, 27-year-old registered nurse Emma, 29-year-old fitness coach Emmie-Rose, 28-year-old registered nurse Georgie and 34-year-old lawyer Bridget back to the farm to get to know them better.

Clearly smitten by Eliza, Tom invited her on a 24-hour date where they enjoyed a magical evening in Tom’s barn.

Eliza said she was excited to have the farmer all to herself, saying he was ‘definitely ticking all the boxes at the moment!’

In the end, Tom picked Georgie, Emmie-Rose, Emma and Bridget to come back to the farm.

Meanwhile, Jarrad selected Maneesha, Lucy, Chloe, Brianna and Ashlee for his potential love interests.
