Farmer Wants A Wife twins Rachel and Chelsea Boothman reveal heartbreaking family loss: ‘We will never forget’

Farmer Wants A Wife twins Rachel and Chelsea Boothman have announced the tragic death of their Uncle Mick. 

The pair, who appeared in this year’s season of the hit show, revealed their beloved family member lost his battle with cancer on their Instagram accounts. 

’10/9/2023. With a heavy heart, it’s hard to share we lost a special part of our family yesterday,’ Rachel wrote alongside some precious family photos. 

‘Uncle Mick you fought so hard, watching someone you love go through something so uncontrollable like cancer is a different type of pain.

‘We will never forget how much you lit up every room Uncle Mick.’

‘Forever in our hearts, we love you forever. Miss you so much already.’ 

Some of the photos showed Mick as he courageously battled illness. 

Chelsea also shared a second loving tribute to her uncle.

‘Uncle Mick, your battle with cancer was long and you found hard,’ she wrote. 

‘We will miss you everyday, forever with us and in our hearts.’

After both leaving the show single, the twins told Now to Love they were grateful to have each other’s support. 

‘We’ve grown up being known as the twins and having that twin label and I think going into it, we just wanted to be ourselves,’ she said. 

‘This is something that we wanted to do as individuals and for ourselves, and it just so happened to be that we both got through and have been shown as these twins.’
