A father has been accused of murdering his wife and teenage daughter before trying to batter and stab his son to death in the family home.
Hernando Enriquez, 44, was tasered by police in Arizona after going on a suspected rampage, killing his wife Sandra who was also 44 and their 15-year-old daughter Isabelle.
They were found in a bathtub in the Tucson home, and when Enriquez’s 17-year-old son came home from school at the request of his father, it appears he tried to kill him too.
The teenager, who was stabbed and battered with a hammer, reportedly told officers his dad said to him: ‘Just let me do what I need to do. I am taking away your mom and sister and I need to finish this.’

The son’s school received a call from Enriquez asking the boy to come home early on the day of the double murder last Friday.
According to a warrant, seen by People, he arrived home to find his father waiting outside for him.
Enriquez allegedly told his son the rest of the family were inside playing a game, but as soon as he walked inside, started hitting him with a blunt object – either a hammer or a tire iron.
After being smashed on the head repeatedly, the scuffle continued in the kitchen, where Enriquez allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed his son several times.
The bloodied teenager managed to wriggle free and ran down the road to his neighbor’s home, banging on doors to alert those inside.
The neighbor called 911 and police arrived to find the father lying on the ground with his hands already underneath him.
But the warrant alleges Enriquez refused to co-operate and tasers were used to subdue him before he was arrested.
Throughout his confrontation with officers, he reportedly mumbled: ‘Just go ahead and kill me.’
No motive has been established and he has yet to enter a plea for two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
