Fears for Paul Hogan’s wayward son as he reveals his stained teeth in ominous video just days after Crocodile Dundee star’s ice-ravaged grandson is rushed to rehab

Paul Hogan’s wayward son Chance shared a concerning video to social media on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old is the youngest son of the Crocodile Dundee star, 84, and the only child the Aussie actor shared with ex-wife and co-star Linda Kozlowski.

He posted disturbing videos on Instagram, ominously claiming something is about to ‘begin’.

Chance looked unrecognisable with long brunette locks and blue sunglasses with a cigarette between his stained teeth while his gums appeared to be inflamed.

‘It’s only just begun,’ Chance said in his first video as he gave the camera an exaggerated smile.

He then uploaded a series of selfies on a balcony at an apartment in Los Angeles while he listened to music.

One photo showed him holding a beer as an ashtray filled with dozens of smoked cigarette sat in front of him.

Chance’s second video was the most concerning as he appeared to share a countdown to an unknown event with followers.

‘One hour and 25 minutes, 24 minutes now in fact. That’s when it commences. Let’s see,’ he said.

It is unclear what is meant to be ‘beginning’ and Chance has not posted to Instagram in the hours following the last video.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Chance and his father Paul for comment.

Chance was lasted spotted in March during a rare outing with Paul in Los Angeles, just months after he was hospitalised in October 2023.

Paul told DailyMail.com during their outing that his youngest son is ‘doing a lot better’ following an emergency trip to the hospital.

Just months earlier, Chance had shared a concerning video to Instagram of himself covered in cuts and bruises.

But on a sunny LA afternoon in March, Chance looked much better as the father and son enjoyed quality time together.

The aspiring musician has a history of erratic behavior and was reportedly fixated with the devil years ago, before his parents teamed up to get him back on track.

Chance’s most recent concerning posts come just days after Paul’s ice-ravaged grandson Jake was rushed into a grim jailhouse rehab.

Jake, 34, confessed to a string of crimes in a desperate bid to get one last chance at shaking his uncontrollable ice addiction.

He pleaded guilty to a series of petty crimes on Friday to fast track his case to NSW Drug Court and immediately entered a prison rehabilitation program.

Downing Centre Local Court Magistrate Sharon Freund was told Jake had taken the Drug Court option to enter the special detox unit, which requires inmates to enter guilty pleas.

Jake is hopelessly hooked on meth and will be placed in the Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre at Parklea prison, 40km west of Sydney.

His strict new prison regime will bring a grim new reality where he will have no privacy – even while on the toilet – in his bid to be drug-free and earn his release.

He will spend the next six months in closed detention undergoing therapeutic intervention, then a further six months in semi-open detention.

When eventually released on parole, he will still have to undergo urine analysis three times a week at the Parklea centre.

Specially-designed toilets with windows allow staff to watch the men give their urine sample and ensure they’re not trying to evade detection of drug use.

The Drug Court system is designed for prisoners like Jake, whose offences are directly related to their drug addiction. Violent offenders or armed robbers do not qualify.

While Jake has been repeatedly caught with vehicle and housebreaking implements, including wire cutters and adjustable wrenches and spanners, he hasn’t been charged with violent offences.

Jake, whose famous grandfather is best known for his legendary Crocodile Dundee films, has had a high number of arrests and breaches since he became hooked on ice three years ago.

His prior charges include custody of a knife in a public place, malicious damage, drug possession, shoplifting, bicycle theft and possessing stolen goods.

He was given a chance at freedom to turn his life around when his father made  a mercy dash from New Zealand and a magistrate released Jake into his custody.

But Jake breached the community order he had been given when his dad Todd flew in from New Zealand and with Jake’s sister Lara pleaded for his release in May.

Jake fell straight back onto meth, with photos exclusively obtained by Daily Mail Australia showing the once handsome young carpenter looking skinny and ice-ravaged.

Todd, one of Paul’s five children with first wife, Noelene, promised to help Jake stick to court-imposed conditions, including abstaining from drugs and alcohol, not committing other offences and appearing in court as required.

After being released from Silverwater prison in May, Jake went to live with his father at Edgecliff Lodge Motel in Sydney’s east.

But he reportedly snubbed a quiet life of family dinners, preferring instead to meet up with friends for nights out on the town.

Within eight days of his release, police arrested Jake for an earlier alleged theft of a bike and around midnight on July 27, Jake was arrested again in Glebe in Sydney’s inner west.

He was charged with possession of 1.5g of methamphetamine and also possessing housebreaking implements including an adjustable spanner.

When he failed to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on August 2, Magistrate Clare Farnan issued a warrant for his arrest and police brought him in six days later.

He was charged with another earlier crime – stealing a black Trek Marlin mountain bike, recklessly destroying a bike cage fence and entering enclosed lands at Woolloomooloo in February.

He was also charged with shoplifting a Red Bull energy drink and two oat health slices worth a total of $9.60 from Woolworths in July.

The Proactive Crime Unit in Kings Cross also charged him with possessing vehicle breaking implements at Kingsford in June, and he is also charged with contravening an AVO.

By pleading guilty to all charges against him and attending prison rehab while having his case transferred to the drug court, Jake may earn another chance at getting out of jail, although on very strict conditions.

Paul Hogan shares sons Brett, Clay, Scott and Todd, as well as daughter Lauren with his ex-wife of 25 years Noelene Edwards, who he divorced in 1986.

In 1990, he married his Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kozlowski who he shares Chance with. The couple divorced in October 2013.
