Fears grow for schoolgirl missing for two days

  • Police have put out an appeal to find Charlotte Jones from Atherton 
  • Charlotte is described as white, about 5ft 4ins, very slim with bleach blonde hair
  • Officers say she might be with a man who is described as white and in his 20s

Fears are growing for a schoolgirl, 14, who has been missing for two days as police say she may be with a man in his 20s.  

Police have put out an appeal to find Charlotte Jones from Atherton, Greater Manchester, after her family have not heard from her since Wednesday morning.

Charlotte is described as white, about 5ft 4ins, very slim and has bleach blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing green jeans, a black jacket and blue jeans.

Officers say they are doing everything they can to find Charlotte and are urging the public to contact police if they see her.

They also said Charlotte might be with a man who is described as white, in his 20s, with brown hair.

She said: ‘Has anybody seen Charlotte Jones she’s been missing since Wednesday morning she’s not been in contact with nobody she was last seen in Atherton area last night about 7 o’clock, if anybody knows where she is or sees her inbox me or Naomi.’

Police stated that Charlotte is not in any trouble and are urging her to contact the police or her family, to let them know she is safe.

If anyone recognises Charlotte, or believes they have seen someone matching her description, they should call police on 101 quoting incident number 130917/0470 of 13 September.
