Age is just a number, so the saying goes, but for a select few celebrities – blessed with personal trainers and beauty treatments galore – it’s a number that doesn’t quite match their still-youthful looks.
A-lister Gwyneth Paltrow has been breaking the internet with her ‘Birthday Suit’ celebration snaps on Instagram in recent years and, to celebrate her 50th birthday on 27th September, the Goop founder decided to go all out.
The actress posed nude, proving she’s in her golden era, by covering half of her body in gold spray paint. And she looks just as good as she did 25 years ago at the height of her film career.
Alongside the likes of Jennifer Aniston, JLo and Halle Berry, Paltrow has seemingly discovered the fountain of youth, showing few signs of ageing over the past few decades.

GWYNETH PALTROW

Photos taken of actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who turned 50 this week, in her youth showed the star with glowing skin, a toned physique and blonde locks – and, as the Gwyneth in gold photos show, the star has barely changed in the decades since.
The blonde beauty marked her big birthday with a nude photoshoot, showing half of her body covered in gold paint as she welcomed in the start of her golden years.
The actor turned wellness guru is married to American TV writer Brad Fulchuk and shares two children with her previous husband, Coldplay front man Chris Martin.
JENNIFER ANISTON

The mother-of-two started her career as a model in the early 90s before her breakthrough role in the romantic comedy Boomerang (1992), alongside Eddie Murphy. Berry is currently filming Netflix thriller Our Man with Mark Wahlberg in Croatia.
JENNIFER LOPEZ
AGE: 53

Sandra Bullock has proved this year that she continues to get more stylish with age.
The 58-year-old actress wowed in the stunning ensemble which was embellished by a pink and purple caped belted detailing when she attended the UK premiere for The Lost City with Channing Tatum earlier this year.
Bullock has adopted two children, who she raises with her long-term partner Bryan Randall.
She had her breakthrough role in the action thriller Speed in 1994, aged 30, and nearly three decades on has hardly changed her look.
GWEN STEFANI
AGE: 52
