The former Liverpool striker retired from the sport in August 2019 after finishing his career in Japan with Sagan Tosu, but could be set for a sensational return.
Torres is yet to disclose which club he has joined, but told fans he would ‘communicate where’ he is planning to play on Friday.

The picture had the accompanying caption: ‘I only understand life in one way – playing. That’s why I’ve decided to return’.
He went on to say that he would announce where he is planning to play in three days time.
He wrote: ‘This Friday I will communicate where’, before adding the following hashtag ‘#vuelveelnino’, which translated to #elninoreturns’.
