FIFA 18 Ultimate Team hidden Icon cards leaked by gamers

The Icon list in FIFA 18 is pretty long already, as EA Sports add more and more footballing legends to the game.

However, there could be even more Icons than you think, as some people have found some interesting stats and pictures in the game files.

These discoveries have led people to believe that they’ll be the next Icon cards to be added, and given the names on the list, it seems pretty likely.

Icons are a new addition to FIFA 18, but they’re just replacing the Legend cards of yesteryear

Twitter user FIFARenderZ posted several pictures containing images and player bios, and it appears more are on the way, according to an image from TheIceMan_

If they are indeed going to be Icon cards, it’s unclear which stage of Icon they’ll be for.

Icons are a new addition to FIFA 18, taking the place of the Legend cards of yesteryear. Each player has three cards, going from their early career up to their prime.

Roy Keane

Paul Scholes

Roy Keane, Giggs, and Paul Scholes make up a strong 1990s era Manchester United contingent

The Roy Keane image looks like a fairly young version, and his rating of 86 is lower than his 88 rated Legend card from FIFA 17, suggesting it could be from his early career.

Paul Scholes’ stats are also slightly lower than his FIFA 17 card, although it’s pretty safe to assume his stats are going to be pretty good across the board regardless.

We can also see the stats for Gianfranco Zola, who looks understandably very pacey, as well as Christian Vieri, who looks like he’ll be a beast in front of goal.

George Best

Gary Lineker

More England legends such as George Best, Gary Lineker, and Bobby Moore are also in there

FIFARenderZ also has stats for Jens Lehmann, Fabio Cannavaro, Pavel Nedved, Fernando Hierro, Hristo Stoichkov, Luis Figo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Emilio Butragueno, and Franco Baresi.

More England legends make a good showing too, including Bobby Moore, Gary Lineker, George Best, and Ryan Giggs.

From the pictures found in the game files, it looks like there are several more to come.

Even more potential Icons have been found in the game files, including George Weah and Zoff

We can see the likes of George Weah and Dino Zoff in there, and from the sounds of things, FIFARenderZ will have more pictures and stats to show off later today.

There are multiple pictures for the same player too, lending more proof to the theory that these will be multiple stages of Icon cards.

We’ll just have to wait and see if and when EA Sports decides to activate these cards in Ultimate Team. More Icon choice is always a good thing.
