Emergency crews are desperately trying to revive a young bodyboarder who was pulled unconscious from treacherous waters at a notoriously dangerous surfing spot.
The 20-year-old reportedly lost his board in the water at Fingal Head in northern New South Wales before he was seen attempting to climb on to rocks.
Police and surf lifesavers were desperately trying to find the man after he vanished at around 11.30am on Sunday.
A man’s body was pulled from the water at around 1pm, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported.
