A car has been destroyed by a fire at an enclosure at a safari park this afternoon.
The vehicle was caught on camera ablaze at West Midlands Safari Park at around 12.20pm today near the lion habitat.
A spokesman for the park confirmed all animals, guests and staff were unharmed and the blaze was extinguished an hour later by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire Service.

A spokesman for the safari park said: ‘We can confirm that we have recently dealt with a vehicle fire in our lion enclosure.
‘All of the animals, guests and staff are safe.
‘The swift reaction from our staff meant that the vehicle was evacuated and lions were put away safely.
‘The emergency services attended promptly, and we would like to thank them for their quick response.’
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire Service confirmed the incident was declared over by 1.44pm.
