Hambledon House is a 16th century luxury hotel, that sits within 200 acres of land
A spokesman said: ‘We were called at around 9.45am this morning to a fire at a property in Vann Lane, Hambledon.
‘Eight fire engines were sent and we are currently on site dealing with a fire on the third floor and roof, and one person has been rescued.’
Hambledon House sits in 200 acres of land, with beautiful ornamental gardens, a large terrace and a ‘picture-perfect reflecting pond’.
The property is used as a hotel and can also be hired for a wide range of events.
