In announcing a book giveaway as part of National Read a Book Day, first lady Melania Trump revealed her son Barron’s favorite: the Dr. Seuss classic, Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
She and her 11-year-old son have read the book ‘over and over’ a release from the White House said.
The press release also details FLOTUS’ plans to Seuss-ify a place in every state, sending out book packages to schools and programs that have achieved high standards of excellence, the White House said Wednesday.

While Melania Trump did not appear publicly on Wednesday she has made book-reading part of her official first lady duties before.
At this year’s White House Easter Egg Roll the first lady took a turn at the reading station and read Today show co-host’s Kathy Lee Gifford’s children’s book, Party Animals.
‘I really like that book because it shows that we are all different, but we are all the same,’ the first lady told the crowd of kids.
National Read a Book Day is observed every year on September 6, which occurs at the beginning of the school year for most American schoolchildren.
