Instagram model and fitness coach Vera Zinger is facing backlash after sharing a controversial photo online.
Zinger, 28, posted an image of herself wearing a risqué gym outfit as she posed at a sacred site in Phuket, Thailand.
The model flaunted her cleavage, abs and legs in a tight crop top and bike shorts, accessorising the look with a pair of trainers.
She captioned the post: ‘Pls hold the line, I’m busy.’
Social media users were quick to criticise the model for her revealing attire, which they said was inappropriate for the location.
‘I am no way shaming how she looks, I think she has an amazing body… but I am Thai and I think it’s pretty disrespectful for her to wear this to see the big buddha statue,’ one wrote.
‘As there are dress codes for your shoulders and knees need to be covered when visiting sites or temples. Usually we wear a scarf or a long skirt like a sarong,’ they added.
‘If you are travelling overseas pleaser do some research beforehand.’

Other social media users echoed the sentiment, with one noting: ‘I understand she’s a fitness influencer but a sacred site or temple is not the place to be taking a gym outfit picture like that.’
‘She shouldn’t be wearing that at the temple and they make you cover up when you get there so she’s taken off her coverings,’ a third wrote.
One user also said: ‘They make you cover up before you go in? She must have taken it off for the photo!’
‘All the people in the back are covered as well, how disrespectful,’ another noted.
