Five people, including three children under the age of eight, were found shot to death in a Delaware home on Monday night.
Police have confirmed that a 42-year-old man, a 41-year-old woman, and three children were discovered in the Wilmington home.
Authorities have not yet released the victims’ names but family members on social media have identified the woman as Julie Burton Edwards.
Edwards’ three children, Jacob, Paxton, and Brinley, have also been identified.

Delaware State Police was called to the home just after 8pm for a death investigation.
All five bodies were found upstairs in the two-story home, according to NBC 10.
Authorities told the community that there was no concern for public safety following the shooting.

Tributes have already begun to pour in for Edwards and her three children on Facebook
‘We’re kind of in shock because we’re really friendly with them,’ Brian Covenko told the station.
‘We know them on a personal level, our kids hang together, we talk all the time.’
Neighbors said they had never noticed any problems with the family before.

Heather Cruz told DailyMail.com that Edwards was an ‘incredible friend and mother’.
Edwards’ brother, William Burton, posted on Facebook that he was ‘numb, heartbroken, and angry beyond belief’.
‘Tonight heaven gained four angels, my sister Julie Burton Edwards, nephew Jacob, nephew Paxton, and niece Brinley,’ he wrote.
‘Please pull your loved ones close, hold them tight and enjoy the moment, you don’t know how many more there will be.’
