He plays the drums in one of Australia’s most popular boy bands.

So it’s no wonder Five Seconds Of Summer’s Ashton Irwin, 26, has developed the biceps of a Greek god over the years.

On Saturday, the Sydney-born rocker showcased his muscly limbs as he stepped out in Los Angeles to grab an iced coffee.

Looking buff in a tight black T-shirt and Nike shorts, Luke was seen climbing out of a white Porsche parked on the street and strolling casually towards a cafe.

He waited in line for some time before picking up his take-away beverage and walking back to his car.

The shaggy-haired musician completed his look with a pair of brown sandals, a gold bangle and a black face mask.

Tatt's a lot of ink! His sprawling collection of tattoos were also on display for the off-duty outing, including a serpent inked on his bicep, a wolf on his forearm and a small, red love heart on his wrist

Their third LP, Youngblood, topped the Billboard 200, making them the first Australian act to have three No. 1 albums in the United States.

In October last year, Ashton released his first solo album Superbloom, which featured songs inspired by his childhood, depression, alcoholism and body dysmorphia.

‘The overarching narrative is support system, healing, recovery, strength and focus on true self. I felt like I had a lot to write about,’ he told Daily Mail Australia ahead of the album release.

‘I had to reach a certain level of lyrical maturity in order to write about something I actually cared about. I think it’s always important as an artist to have a mission statement, like, ‘Why do you make music? Why do you write the lyrics you write?”
