‘F**k Rove McManus!’ Kyle Sandilands takes swipe at Rove

It’s a fourteen-year feud, that started because of comments made about his ex-wife’s short-lived music career.

But Kyle Sandilands refuses to let bygones be bygones with former 2Day FM and Channel Ten star Rove McManus, who’s career is currently in hibernation. 

After he called his step-dad to apologise on Wednesday, co-host Jackie O Henderson pushed her luck by suggesting he do the same with Rove.

‘I appeal to everyone now – right now – if you are having a problem with someone – it might be a lifelong feud…’ he began, before being interrupted by Jackie’s epiphany.

‘[Gasps in excitement] Let’s call Rove McManus!’ she said. 

After singer Guy Sebastian successfully mediated his apology call with step-dad David, Jackie O had confidence Kyle still had some forgiveness left in the tank.

She was wrong.

‘No! F**k Rove McManus!’ he barked, leaving Guy to ask Jackie to cool her jets, lest she undo all his hard work.

‘Sorry, Sorry! No… I’m not there yet,’ Kyle said, apologising to Guy for going backwards on his path towards a clear conscience.’

Poking fun at his co-host’s eagerness, he added: ‘She wants the baby to come out of the womb and run a race!’

‘No!’ ‘No! F**k Rove McManus!’ he barked, still furious that the former Channel Ten star teased his then-wife’s music back in 2003

‘That’s not how things work!’

Had Jackie been successful, it would have seen the end of a feud that started back in 2003, when Kyle accused Rove of teasing his ex-wife Tamara Jaber’s music.

‘Not there yet’: It came afte he’d  already called to patch things up with his step-dad Dave, but addressing Rove’s comments about ex-wife Tamara Jaber (pictured) he said: ‘I’m not there yet!’

He’s since clarified: ‘When Tamara brought those songs out a few years ago and the newspapers started saying I was the only person playing it … Rove jumped on the bandwagon and started to have a go.’

‘I started hating him and then when Rove’s wife [Belinda Emmett] passed away, he and I met up again and he said ‘I’m sorry, I understand, I shouldn’t have gone there with the Tamara situation.’

‘Then two weeks later he was an asshole to me and Tamara on his TV show!’ he continued.

‘Everyone thinks he’s cookies and cream when he’s a little pr**k … he’s a little a**hole.’
