Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac is seeking a long-term restraining order against an alleged stalker.
InTouch is reporting that Buckingham is requesting long-term court-ordered protection against a woman named Michelle, 53, who he says has been stalking him for years. He has already been granted a temporary restraining order against her.
Buckingham claimed that police were sent to his house after they received a 911 call informing them his son William wanted to harm himself. The caller also claimed they heard gunshots.
Police handcuffed Buckingham before learning the allegations made in the 911 call was ‘fictitious’, and the number that made the call was was traced to Michelle’s phone.
The incident occurred after police warned Michelle to stay away from Buckingham’s home after she showed up on September 19.
