Fleur East reveals the WORST thing that happened to her while competing on Strictly Come Dancing

Fleur East revealed the WORST thing that happened to her while competing on Strictly Come Dancing during an interview with Good Morning Britain on Tuesday. 

Speaking to Kate Garraway and John Stapleton, the singer 36, said: ‘I still say to myself now, if I can get through Strictly, I can get through everything. It was so difficult.’

‘The best part of Strictly was the dancing and also all the close relationships that you form with the other celebs.

‘The worst time was losing my big toenail, the aches and pains were awful as well.’

Fleur appeared in the twentieth season of the hit reality dancing show in 2022 with dance partner Vito Coppola.

The two were the first to achieve forty points for their dance, which is the maximum possible, but ultimately finished in second place in December that same year. 

In June of this year, Fleur was announced as the co-host of Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two after Rylan stepped down.

Fleur now co-hosts the show alongside Cuban choreographer and professional dancer Janette Manrara, who also starred in Strictly for several seasons. 

The X Factor runner-up revealed on the breakfast show that she has now set her sights on acting. 

Speaking about her upcoming role, Fleur said: ‘I play the character of Miss Meesha in the BBC’s Phoenix Rise. 

‘I’m a music teacher in the school that works to nurture her students’ talents.’

Currently, Fleur hosts the Saturday Morning show from 9 am to 12 pm across the Hits Radio Network.

She has been married to French celebrity fashion designer Marcel Badiane-Robin since 2019.
