Flight attendant sparks a FURIOUS etiquette debate after claiming passengers shouldn’t blow their NOSES on planes

A flight attendant has sparked a debate about passenger etiquette after slamming people who blow their noses on planes. 

Taryn Milhouse, 28, from North Carolina, has nearly 10,000 followers on TikTok, where she documents her life and travels as a regional crew member with her ‘Day in the Life’ series. 

The content creator, who uses the handle @tarynonajourney, recently sounded off on her customer pet peeves in a now-viral video. 

‘I’m not sure why I would have to say this, but one, we don’t wanna hear you blow your nose while we are in a closed, tight environment,’ she said.

‘That is disrespectful to other people, and I feel like you could go to the bathroom and blow your nose.’

Milhouse also had some choice words for passengers who disregard the people around them and freely pass gas inside the cabin. 

‘If you have to pass gas, go to the bathroom,’ she said. ‘We know what a fart smells like. 

‘We don’t want to walk through and walk through your fart air. No, I don’t want to.’

‘If you have to dig in your nose, go to the bathroom and use tissue,’ she continued. 

‘Excuse yourself. You’re sitting around several other people. We don’t want to be around you picking your nose.’

The regional flight attendant added that passengers should also refrain from blowing their noses in their hands on flights, which she apparently has seen people do.

‘Why do I have to say this to adults?’ she asked. ‘I’m not sure, but that is disgusting. We don’t want to see you, hear you, know that you’re blowing your nose in your hand.’

‘If I [told] y’all the stuff I see GROWN ADULTS do, you wouldn’t believe me!’ she added in the caption. 

The video has been viewed more than 60,000 times and has received nearly 300 comments since it was posted last month.

‘So what are we supposed to do if we have allergies?’ one person asked. 

‘We’re allowed to go to the bathroom for about 12 minutes each flight,’ someone else argued. ‘What do you suggest for the other hour for people with allergies?’

‘I am going to blow my nose in a tissue while sitting in the seat that I paid for regardless of what anyone thinks,’ another insisted.

However, others praised Milhouse for educating people on plane etiquette. 

‘Thank you for this PSA because people don’t have common decency,’ one commenter responded. 

‘It’s sad that it has to be said!!! Some people aren’t taught!!!’ someone else agreed.

‘Preach! Also, coughing without a cover!!’ another added.
