Florida attorney visited prison to have sex with inmates

A Florida attorney has been arrested for allegedly filming himself having sex with an inmate at the Pinellas County Jail for a porn series titled ‘Girls in Jail’.

Police in Clearwater, Florida got a tip in November that 55-year-old attorney Andrew Spark was meeting with women who weren’t his clients, in an attempt to get them to perform sex acts in the attorney-client meeting room.

The attorney-client meeting room is a feature in all jails where inmates can meet with their legal representation in relative privacy. The room at the Pinellas County Jail doesn’t have audio or video surveillance. The only view into the room is a small window, which Spark would reportedly block by standing in front of during such illicit meetings.

He would record the sex acts on his iPad, which attorneys get special privileges to bring into their meetings with clients. At the end of the meeting, he would reportedly upload the videos to the internet.

‘We do extend [lawyers] that privilege so they can be efficient in their representation of their clients,’ Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said at a Monday press conference. ‘This is a guy who understood what the privileges were and decided he was going to exploit that and use it to his advantage.’

Spark reportedly approached 25-year-old Shauna Boselli in November, offering to put money in her commissary account if she performed oral sex on him while he filmed. He bragged about having sex with another inmate just before meeting with her.

‘It was really ridiculously nominal amounts,’ Gualtieri said. ‘But when you’re in jail those ridiculously nominal accounts add up.’

Spark and Boselli knew each other before she was jailed for child pornography charges. Last year, Spark met Boselli at a Tampa porn festival and tried to get her to do a video with him but they could not agree on the price.

Spark reported propositioned another inmate, Shauna Boselli, 25, in November but she turned him down

Boselli turned him down again when he approached her at the jail, but authorities were later able to confirm that he had sex with at least one other inmate – 28-year-old Antoinette Rose Napolitano.

Like Boselli, Spark met Napolitano before she was incarcerated. He solicited her for sex off Backpage.com three years ago and they would meet to hook up before she was jailed for drug charges.

Authorities say Spark had sex with Napolitano at the jail at least six times since June.

When they learned that Spark planned to meet with Napolitano on Sunday, they wired the room and then waited for the sex act to begin.

They say Spark started recording the video while Napolitano was seated at the table. He asked her to describe some sexual fantasies and then to perform sex acts.

When Spark pulled out his penis, detectives opened the door and took him into custody.

Spark was booked into the same jail where he filmed the sex acts. He posted $5,300 bond later that same day.

He faces charges of soliciting for prostitution, exposure of sexual organs and possession of contraband in a county detention facility.

Spark refused to speak to detectives and asked for an attorney.

‘He wouldn’t talk,’ Gualtieri said. ‘He said he wanted a lawyer. Go figure.’

Gualtieri says they have not been able to find any of his videos on the internet yet.

Police are now investigating whether Spark had sex with more inmates across the county.

They say Napolitano will not face charges for the sex acts.

Records show that Spark once worked for the Florida Attorney General’s Office as an assistant attorney general, but quit in 2011.

A spokesman for then Attorney general Pam Bondi said that he was the subject of an internal investigation regarding the use of a work computer to do personal business. The complaint was closed when he quit.

He had no disciplinary history.

Gualtieri says they do not plan to change the policies involving attorneys meeting with clients at the jail.
