One Boston Red Sox fan has gone viral for pouring a full glass of milk on himself to celebrate a Jarren Duran home run at Fenway Park. 

Duran took Baltimore Orioles hurler Zach Eflin deep to right in the first inning in rainy Boston on Saturday. 

As the live shot of Duran showed fans celebrating and him rounding the bases, the fan in green is shown celebrating, holding the glass of milk and only wet from the rain. 

The fan then pours the entire jug of milk on himself, mostly over his head in excitement over the first-inning long ball. 

The Red Sox were wearing green for Saturday afternoon’s game, but a closer look at the fan’s t-shirt may give away what actually was happening.

Fox has coverage of the Indianapolis 500 for the first time, with the biggest race in American motor sports taking place on Sunday. The game was being carried by the network on national television.

When an IndyCar driver wins the signature race, they kiss the bricks on the race track before being gifted a huge wreath of flowers. 

Then comes the infamous drinking of milk before pouring what is left in the jug all over yourself. 

Fox’s advertising for the event got a little creative, with fans looking to get out of the rain, except for the fan that got more camera time than most with the milk. 

Even with the rain, the game was not postponed, like two previous in the series, with the Red Sox winning the contest 6-5 in extra innings. 

The Orioles continue to be one of the worst teams in baseball, heading into Saturday night’s second-half of the doubleheader at 16-34. The Red Sox are teetering around .500 at 27-26 after the extra-inning win.
