It’s Michael Owen!

Michael was born in Cheshire and is the fourth child to Jeanette and Terry Owen, who was also a professional footballer, playing for clubs such as Chester City and Everton.

After posting the photos, Michael’s followers took to the comment section to remark on the uncanny similarities between Jeanette and his daughter Gemma, 21.

They wrote: ‘Your daughter is the image of your mum’ and ‘Oh I see Gemma Owen, very like your mum. Congratulations to your parents on their anniversary.’

Both Robbie Keane and Phil Neville posted love heart emojis, while others typed: ‘The nicest couple going. Years of laughs at Chester and trips away at the races with them both down the years. Always make me smile’

‘Aww. Happy anniversary to them both! That’s some going!’

Michael Owen’s tight-knit family includes son James, 18, wife of 29 years Louise and daughters Jessica, 14, Gemma, and Emily, 16.

Michael met his wife Louise Bonsall when they attended primary school – then Hawarden High School – together in Flintshire in Wales. Despite his blistering rise through the Liverpool youth ranks, the player kept a lid on his academic career, leaving with 10 GCSEs before signing his professional contract with the Reds in 1996.

It would be nine years until Owen and Bonsall tied the knot, after becoming engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2004, with the wedding taking place at their family home.

They will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in June next year.
