Triple J host Dee Salmin has issued a classy response on social media against a hurtful troll who criticised her relationship with AFL star Darcy Moore.
The Sunday Hook Up host shared a photo to Instagram of her and Darcy, 28, attending the Brownlow Medal ceremony in Melbourne on Wednesday, along with a public comment she had received from the troll.
‘Darcy has money, fame and elite football skills, yet traded his gonads to a feminist witch,’ the troll wrote.
Dee played a cover of the 1972 Eagles classic Witchy Woman over her post and captioned it with some classy words.
‘Immortalising the highest compliment I’ve ever received,’ she wrote.
Many of Dee’s sporting friends quickly took to the comment section to congratulate her on her brave post.
‘Alpha move,’ wrote Bulldogs player Cody Weightman and AFLW star Georgie Parker added: ‘I DREAM of being called a feminist witch. Go queen!’
In July, Darcy and Dee’s living arrangements became the talk of the AFL, with fans labelling the Collingwood skipper ‘woke’ and blaming his unorthodox relationship for a form slump.

Dee raised eyebrows when she revealed on a podcast why they don’t live together.
Many fans said Salmin’s long-winded explanation for why they live apart – complete with feminist buzzwords and therapy-speak – made their eyes roll.
‘I don’t live with my partner at the moment. We have such different, independent, busy lives,’ Salmin said.
‘We get to have so much of what we had when we were still single in our relationship.
‘But I wonder how much you can actually upkeep that when you do end up living together. So much of it is hetero-dynamic learnt behaviours that you might fall into.’

Her line about ‘hetero-dynamic learnt behaviours’ caused a firestorm on social media.
Collingwood loyalists had mixed reactions, with some even linking Salmin’s comments to Moore’s performance woes – Others simply found Salmin’s interview confusing due to her use of progressive terminology.
Moore and Salmin first sparked rumours they were dating when they were pictured holding hands last August at the opening night of Moulin Rouge in Melbourne in October 2023.
They later confirmed their romance by hitting the red carpet together at several exclusive A-List events.
