NRL reporter Lara Pitt has shown her professional aplomb when dealing with a fan screaming the F-bomb during a live cross after the Roosters 13-12 victory over the Sharks.

Pitt was reporting live as disappointed Sharks fans left PointsBet Stadium – and some just couldn’t help themselves when they saw the camera.

The Fox Sports presenter was speaking when one fan stopped and yelled, ‘f**k the Roosters, f**k the Roosters’ while flipping off the camera.

Rather than ignoring the unruly supporter, Pitt turned on the man during the live TV moment.

‘OK, that’ll do, buddy,’ she told him, and the man moved on.

Seconds later another group of rowdy fans appeared to disrupt the broadcast.

‘Anything could happen here, but I’m going to forge through,’ Pitt said.

As the fans became more unruly, host Yvonne Sampson decided to move on.

‘Lara, you’ve done a great job and I feel we’re going to have to wave on those locals, but excellent update, thank you,’ Sampson said.

‘Oh dammit, I had so much more to say,’ Pitt laughed.

As the fans appeared to have moved on, Sampson added: ‘Do it now, quick.’

Pitt tried to continue but the footy fans were relentless, yelling: ‘Hi mum’, ‘I love you, mum’ and ‘Up the Knights’.

Pitt replied: ‘Yeah, go Newcastle tomorrow,’ before crossing back to the studio.

‘Well done @LaraPitt_ great job there after the game. Held your composure under difficult circumstances,’ said one.

‘Absolute class by @LaraPitt_ in the face of some utterly boorish Sharks ‘fans’,’ said another.

‘Lara Pitt is very professional & a very good sports journalist,’ said a third.
