Paris Lawrence and Daniel Rioli are set to tie the knot following the end of the 2025 AFL season.

The three-time Premiership player was traded from Richmond to the Gold Coast in the off-season and has enjoyed a bright start to the year, kicking four goals in six appearances.

The Jack Dyer medallist popped the question to his beau, who is a professional DJ, back in June last year, with Rioli getting down on one knee while the pair were on top of a snowy mountain during a romantic getaway.

The pair posted the exciting news on Instagram with Paris, who has over 36,000 followers on Instagram, showing off her massive diamond engagement ring.

They are set to tie the knot at a private ceremony in Byron Bay in October, with Paris opening up on their celebration plans hinting that she could even get on the decks after a few glasses of bubbly.

‘The planning is fully underway and we can’t wait, we’re so excited,’ she said to The Herald Sun.

The couple moved to the Gold Coast in the off-season after Rioli was traded from Richmond to the Suns 

‘We’ve tried to make it as intimate as possible but the numbers keep creeping up.

‘It’ll be about 80-100 people, a big party and celebration with everyone important in our lives.

‘We both fell in love with the venue, it’s giving European vibes, and we knew it was the one.

‘I might jump on the decks after a few champagnes.’

Having moved from Melbourne to the Gold Coast with her husband over the winter, Paris says she’s been settling into life well on the east coast.

‘The lifestyle is amazing and we’re loving it so much,’ she said.

‘Daniel is really happy and it’s been an easy transition for us. The club is so lovely and I’ve been hanging out with a lot of the other girls, they’re all so grounded and really nice.

‘There are a lot of elements that are like home for Daniel and I feel in general everyone is more relaxed.

‘There’s still a lot of love there (for Richmond) too.’

The pair began dating back in 2021, according to reports.

It came after Daniel had split up with his former girlfriend Mia Fevola, the stepdaughter of retired AFL great Brendan Fevola. 

The pair had been together for two years before splitting in 2020.
