The forward hadn’t found the net in his previous eight matches but managed to get on the scoresheet in spectacular fashion.
Prior to making the move to Italy last summer, the player had spent his entire club career in England.
He managed to score the only goal of the game as Torino won 1-0 against Empoli.
Torino are in eleventh place in Serie A following their win, while Empoli are 10th.
The ex-Premier League star also received the player of the match award.

Former Southampton striker Che Adams scored from near the halfway line as he helped Torino to prevail.
In total, Adams has scored five goals since signing for Torino, although this was his first goal for the club since September.

Adams joined Torino on a three-year contract. He previously had spells at Sheffield United and Birmingham.
