‘Rest in peace and enjoy your wings, gorgeous girl’: Former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant reveals her sister-in-law Sandra has died from bowel cancer
Former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant has penned a heartbreaking tribute after her sister-in-law Sandra Brant died from bowel cancer.
The children’s entertainer, 32, shared her family’s loss on Instagram on Thursday.
She posted a photo of Sandra in her husband Tyron’s arms as they kissed in a field of sunflowers.

Lauren wrote: ‘Always in our hearts. Sandra lived, always with the most beautiful smile, and acted on what brought her heart joy.
‘She absolutely loved her husband Tyron, son Connor and daughter Allegra, with her whole being.
‘Sandra was strong and graceful through her suffering and inspired us all. She took her last breath in her husband’s arms, her favourite place in the whole world, and is now finally at peace.’
‘For those who have been blessed to know Sandra, have been touched by an angel. Rest in peace and enjoy your wings, gorgeous girl,’ Lauren concluded.

The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star also shared a photo of herself with Sandra, which was taken just weeks earlier at a family get-together.
Lauren, who shares sons Miller, three, and Houston, one, with retired AFL player Barry Hall, captioned it: ‘I can’t believe you are really gone, just like that.
‘I wanted you to stay so much. I’m sorry this had to be your story. It will never make sense to me. I will never try make sense of it.’
