Former Love Island star is rushed to hospital after suffering a second painful injury in just TWO months

Luca Bish has been rushed to hospital after suffering a leg injury.

The reality star, 25, took to social media on Sunday to share a mysterious yet dramatic update with his fans and followers.

The former Love Island contestant did not actually go into any detail about what had happened to him, but share some snaps of himself in hospital.

In the first picture, Luca smiled with both of his thumbs up as he sat up in bed , with his left leg having been all wrapped up in a cast. 

It appears to be the second injury for Luca after he shared an image of himself with crutches just two months ago

 For the caption of his post, Luca alluded to the Ed Sheeran track Thinking Out Loud as he pulled a lyric from it.

He said: ‘When your legs don’t work like they used to before.’

The TV star was greeted with messages from his former co-stars of the ITV2 dating show as they rushed to send their support.

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate and Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu wrote:’Get better soon bro you still look fresh!’

And Jacques O’Neill – who made it to week six of Love Island two years ago – said: ‘Got ya bro, be back better’

Fellow former Islander Dami Hope said: ‘Back in top form soon my boyyyy.’ 

Luca shot to fame on series eight of Love Island, finishing in second place alongside Gemma Owen, 21, who is the daughter of former footballer Michael Owen.

But, the pair split in November 2022, just three months after the show ended.

At the time, Gemma confirmed their split with a statement shared to her Instagram stories, saying it ‘wasn’t an easy decision.’

She wrote: ‘To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. It wasn’t an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now.

‘Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning and I want to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters. Love always, Gem x.’

Luca also shared his own statement confirming the split, writing: ‘I would have liked some time to process this privately but as you all already now know sadly Gemma and I made the mutual decision earlier today to go our separatre ways.’
