Footage has emerged of Sergio Aguero bizarrely asking an American live streamer if he likes cocaine.

Since retiring from football on the advice of doctors due to a heart condition following a brief stint at Barcelona, the former striker has built up a sizeable following live streaming online.

Earlier this week Aguero was joined by influencer Adin Ross, with the pair playing football live on stream from a small-sided pitch.

The 36-year-old demonstrated that his eye for goal is just as strong as ever in the nearly three years since he hung up his boots but the pair’s collaboration would ultimately go viral online for decidedly different reasons.

In a clip that has since been circulated widely online, Aguero initially told Ross that he struggles to understand the American’s accent.

Ross then complimented Aguero’s scent followed by an exaggerated sniff, prompting an outlandish response from the Argentinian.

‘You like the cocaine?’ Aguero asked, before Ross quickly clarified that he had simply being referring to the fragrance that Aguero had been wearing.

‘No no no, my nose is just good at sniffing because it’s big and pointy,’ he said.

‘But no of course not, I just like the smell of your cologne.’ A clearly embarrassed Ross added.

The clip aired live on Ross’ channel on the American live streaming platform Kick as his legion of devoted fans tuned in.

Despite being permanently banned from the world’s largest streaming platform Twitch, Ross has become one of the most influential creators in the sphere in recent years.

Earlier this week former President Donald Trump joined Ross for an interview on his channel in which he discussed the upcoming presidential election, and his opponent Kamala Harris.

The record-breaking interview is said to have been brokered by Trump’s 18-year-old son Barron, who is reportedly a huge fan of Ross’ content.

‘My son Barron says hello.’ Trump said. ‘He’s a great young guy but he’s a big fan of yours.’

‘My son’s told me about you,’ he added. ‘He said “dad, he’s really big”.’

It is not the first time Aguero has caused controversy with his comments on a live stream.

An Argentine journalist labelled him a ‘son of a b****’ after the former Manchester City star discussed the dollarisation of his nation’s economy on his Twitch channel.

He also hit out at Zlatan Ibrahimovic last year after the Swedish forward claimed Argentina would fail to win any more World Cups following their 2022 triumph in Qatar.
