Former professional cricketer Aiden Blizzard puts his modern Seddon home on the market
Former cricketer Aiden Blizzard and his wife, Jessica, have listed their stylish three-level home in Seddon, Melbourne.
The 37-year-old, who played cricket for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania and was renowned for hitting belters in the T20, retired from the game in 2018.
Aiden and Jessica have set a price guide of $920,000 to $980,000 for the Gamon Street property, which was modernised with the help of Bec and George Douros from The Block’s 2013 season, reports realestate.com.au.

‘The walls were yellow, the carpet was stained, it had the old-school fold up curtains and a laminate kitchen. It was really daggy and crying out to be updated,’ said Jessica.
‘But we saw the spiral staircase and we were really drawn to the natural light and space and thought how amazing it could be,’ she added.
The couple purchased the ‘New York-style’ property in 2015 for $635,000, but they only moved in after Aiden had retired from professional cricket.

The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spiral staircase, high ceilings, hand-cut parquetry flooring, a modernised kitchen, two balconies with scenic views of the town, and two parking spaces.
Aiden and Jessica hired the Douroses’ design firm Nectaar to renovate the property and give it an updated appeal.
The Seddon home is nestled in the Bellerive Theatre complex and is considered one of the more affordable homes in the area, according to Compton Green real estate agent Steele Sexton.
