Ljupko Petrovic, who won the European Cup as Red Star Belgrade manager in 1991, is reportedly in critical condition following a car crash.
According to journalist Metodi Shumanov, the 76-year-old was involved in an accident that occurred on the outskirts of Belgrade, Serbia.
Petrovic is currently the manager of Bulgarian second division side Litex Lovech.
After a playing career in which he mainly represented Croatian club Osijek, Petrovic moved into coaching in 1982, remaining at the same team, where he took charge of their youth side.
He has subsequently managed many different teams including Espanyol, Olympiacos and Levski Sofia.

Petrovic’s most notable spell as a manager was with Red Star Belgrade, where as well as the European Cup, he also won the league title in 1991. He won the league again in 1995 and lifted the Serbia and Montenegro Cup in the same season.
While at Levski Sofia Petrovic oversaw success in the Bulgarian league in 2000-01.
Petrovic is currently in his fourth spell as manager of Litex Lovech, with whom he won the Bulgarian Cup in the 2003-04 campaign.
He also won the Chinese FA Cup in 2003 when he was in charge of Beijing Guoan.
Furthermore, Petrovic won the Rwandan league title in 2014 and 2018.
