Train passengers film the spectacle and sing along as McNeal belts out DJ Dennis Ferrer’s ‘Hey Hey.’ Musician and producer Corey Wilkes can be seen dancing and using a shaker as McNeal carries her notes.
The touching moment is a part of a partnering effort between the Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Park District and the Floating Museum.
‘Floating Museum is presenting Soul El, on regular service Green Line trains and it will inlcude live musical performances weekly on Thursdays,’ the Floating Museum said on its website. ‘Two traincars will feature art installations on the inside and outside of the cars.’

The South Side native and mother-of-two was tapped to be on Jennifer Hudson’s team during the 13th season of the show.
She took to her Instagram on September 17 to share what the moment meant to her.
