- Bisping claimed that he ‘got a hold of’ the thief before claiming back the bag
- The 45-year-old revealed the information via a post on his social media accounts
UFC legend Michael Bisping has revealed how he chased after a thief who stole his wife’s bag before giving him a ‘kick up the a**’.
Bisping retired from the UFC back in May 2018 however that hasn’t stopped him from putting his skills to use after apprehending the thief while on holiday.
The UFC legend was in Paris sightseeing with his wife, Rebecca, after working as a commentator at Dana White’s show in the French capital.
The former UFC middleweight champion revealed the news via a post on social media, in which he said: ‘Some little s*** snatched Rebecca’s bag. Not on my watch.’
‘I chase after him, get a hold of him, he had the bag already hidden in a towel,’ Bisping said. Got the bag off him. He didn’t speak a word of English, obviously.

‘Didn’t do anything to him, got the bag back. He was shitting his pants, poor guy. He was like, ‘Please, please, please. Oh, mercy, mercy, mercy’.
‘I let him go, turned around, boom, just gave him a nice kick up the a***.’
‘Anyway, got the bag back and all is good.’
Bisping made history in 2016 by becoming the first British fighter to claim the UFC Middleweight Championship, defeating Luke Rockhold.
After a successful 13-year MMA career, he transitioned to other endeavors, including sports commentary, acting, and podcasting.
Back in February, Bisping was caught in a homophobia controversy after a hot-mic moment at UFC 298.
While working as an analyst for ESPN, Bisping was discussing the night’s events when he said ‘what a guy’ in reference to a fighter.

The 44-year-old concluded his segment but the camera did not cut away immediately, and Bisping was then seen criticizing his own comments moments before as ‘f*****g gay.’
‘What a guy?’ That’s ‘f*****g gay. Come on.’
Bisping tweeted several times in aftermath but did not address his words.
