Former WWE superstar and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Eva Marie has filed for divorce from her husband, fitness industry business owner Jonathan Coyle, according to TMZ.
The couple had been married for ten years before Marie filed the papers to begin the official process of separating earlier this month.
According to documents filed, the couple initially separated back in October of 2023 citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
The wrestler – born Natalie Eva Marie Nelson – had two stints in the WWE: from 2013-2017 and again from 2020-2021.
She made her main roster debut in July of 2013 when she became the manager for The Bella Twins.
In addition to her role as manager, she also became a main cast member in the WWE’s reality television show, Total Divas.

Marie had two stints with the wrestling promotion while pursuing a career in acting
She officially began wrestling on her own with the WWE’s developmental promotion NXT in mid-2015 before returning to the main roster in April of 2016.
Later in 2016, Marie joined ‘SmackDown’. She remained there for a year before departing the company for the first time in August of 2017.
She left in order to pursue an acting career – with Marie making her film debut in the box office flop ‘Inconceivable’ where she starred alongside Gina Gershon, Faye Dunaway, and Nicholas Cage.
Marie has since gone on to star in three other movies – with the most recent being 2023’s ‘Phoenix’.
She also has appeared in multiple reality television shows – including ‘Celebrity Showdown’ and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. In the latter, she competed as a house guest and finished in seventh place.
Rumors began in 2020 that Marie had signed a contract to return to WWE – eventually making her return to the ring in a June 2021 episode of ‘Raw’. She lasted until November, when she was part of a round of layoffs by the company.
