All Together Now sees audience members stand if they are impressed by what they hear, with the aim of helping the contestant take home a $100,000 prize.
Ronan told the publication that, unlike The X Factor, All Together Now does not revolve around the premise that the winner will become a global superstar and does not fall into the tired tropes of regular talent contests.
SBS identity Julia Zemiro, 51, will also host the show.
The show will see the singer move back to Australia with second wife Storm and their one-year-old son Cooper.
